We are delighted to welcome the incoming LSE Director Prof. Craig Calhoun in Istanbul, on 22nd May 2012, Tuesday evening.

He has kindly agreed to meet the Turkish Alumni at a drinks reception.

Prof. Calhoun doesn't join the School until July, so his trip to Istanbul is not on LSE business; however, he is very keen to make the most of opportunities to connect with LSE alumni before he arrives in London. 

This drinks reception with the Turkish Friends of LSE will be a wonderful welcome and a chance to see the warmth and engagement of LSE Alumni in Turkey.  

Donors and Advisory Board members for the Chair in Contemporary Turkish Studies, will also be invited.
